Lunar Industrials offers nuclear reactors that are purpose build for the needs of developing countries. With terawatts of suppressed demand for baseload electricity due to unaffordable prices LI looks to alleviate energy poverty by deploying its solutions as fast as economically possible.  

Company History

LI seeks to reestablish nuclear as the cheapest way to provide power to society. Since it is not possible to do this when being forced to pay 35 trillion USD per averted fatality to improve the „safety“ of a technology who’s worst designs are already safer than the „safest“ of its competitors, there is a necessity to find or create a less unreasonable regulatory environment. In pursuit of this LI set its eyes on the moon. By utilising the Starship Singularity we would be able to deploy industrial scale oxygen production power by nuclear and thus enable the reusability of Starship to the moon. 

Because of delays in the Starship development program and expected slow utilisation of its capability in the first years after commercialisation we are presented with the opportunity of demonstrating our capabilities terrestrially. For this we have relocated to Rwanda.

Rwandan Leadership

The choice of Rwanda as our place of business has been a rather easy one. After evaluating every country Rwanda stands out with a unique set of preconditions for profitably executing a contrarian nuclear program. 

-First, Rwanda is experiencing an electricity supply crisis that is hamstringing its development with no real alternative to cheap nuclear being available. 

-Second, Rwanda is business friendly, especially on investor protection. 29th in the ease of doing business index 2019, just four places behind number 25 Germany

-Third, Rwanda is stable, safe and uncorrupt enabling longterm oriented leadership and investment
